Steve Joyner, PA-C
Physician Assistant, Owner
Greenville Health Care Center, Greenville, NC

What population do you serve?

The location of the clinic was very important. Greenville, North Carolina is a city of 50,000 set in a rural county. The practice did not see children younger than 2 years old and did not see obstetrical patients. A lot of industrial needs were met by the practice, which was the biggest industrial provider in Greenville between 1989-2002. Industrial medicine provided 33% of the revenue and included contracts with businesses such as United Parcel Service and Coca-Cola for pre-employment physicians and drug screens, Department of Transportation physicals, and Worker’s Compensation medical services.
