What
do you do for information systems?
Greenville
Healthcare Center had a computerized patient database at first.
Medical and financial records were kept by hand. Within 5
years, the practice purchased medical software that kept financial
billing and insurance information. They were also set up for
in-house dictation so that the records could be signed off
every day by the supervising physician(s).
Joyner
considers the “biggest mistake” to be purchasing
less expensive software. In retrospect, he would purchase
for features and reliability rather than price.
